Dining Areas
![]() "Original" Dining Room As far as we know this room was added on in the late 1940's. It sports log walls, a picture window facing the river and a real covered wagon frame hanging from the ceiling. We created four booths that look like covered wagons and now we have engagements and anniversaries celebrated in these cozy little getaways almost every day. (Call early to request these). River Room You will find many interesting features in this room. Originally built as an outside patio, the floor is made from interlocking paving stones. Lots of windows, lots of view - no matter where you're seated. Six tables are located directly along the windows. (Yes, call early to request these, too). East WingCleverly named, this room is on the East side of the building with two walls of windows facing the river. There is even outside access to feed the geese or walk through our garden area along the river. With a capacity of up to 56, this room is a favorite for rehearsal dinners. Upstairs Our upstairs area is great for parties. Separated into two areas: the main room and the terrace, this location offers the most privacy and is "fully contained" with a full bar and restrooms. Groups can reserve both areas, or just one. The main area can seat up to 50 and the terrace up to 30. Of course both areas overlook the river and in the Summer you can even enjoy the use of the deck. Deck We have found a way to beat the Minnesota mosquitoes: screens. Enjoy the fresh air and an up close view of the river with no bugs. Perfect! Ambassador Room High backed leather chairs make everyone feel like an important diplomat when they sit here. With seating for up to 18, this is a great room for small groups. |
